The NSG Group is a global leader in glass manufacturing in four business areas: Architectural, Automotive, Creative Technologies and Technical Glass.Our mission is to be the global leader in innovative high-performance glass and glazing solutions, working safely and ethically.We are now seeking a Commercial Analyst to join our Sales Support team - someone to control, manage, develop, and provide informed recommendations on pricing for the Commercial team.Working with the Commercial team to pro-actively implement a pricing strategy, you will review and analyse commercial information and data to assist in strategic decision making, improve profitability and exceed commercial targets. You will develop, manage, and control reports and systems to enable effective pricing decisions, and monitor price compliance, price gaps, price effects and competitor pricing activity. You will manage and continue to develop scenario planning tools to determine the effect of cost and sales price changes at customer and product level on margin, and conduct price tracking and margin analysis, to identify inconsistencies in pricing architecture and achieve margins.As our Commercial Analyst, you will also be responsible for the management of price requests and tenders for specific customers and products, and for developing and utilising pricing excellence tools, methods and knowledge to provide recommended prices to the Commercial team. You will manage the pricing for export customers supplied from UK asset base and determine the correct price level based upon actual cost of product to export, customer size, market demand and competition.Self-motivated, standards driven, and results orientated, you will have excellent communication skills and be a strong team player. You’ll need to have good numeracy and analytical skills, as well as a high degree of competency in IT applications, in particular MS Excel.Benefits
  • Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:30 until 17:00.
