Would you like to be part of a service which is innovative, forward-thinking and committed to enabling people who are experiencing eating disorders to recover and discover their potential?

We are currently seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated BABCP registered CBT Therapist to join a busy All Age Eating Disorder Service (EDS). We are a specialist service with five locality teams covering the Lancashire and South Cumbria area, providing excellent opportunities for shared learning and support. This post will be East Lancashire locality based at Pendle House. You should be an excellent communicator and team player, with the successful applicant joining a dynamic multi-disciplinary team of professionals, including Clinical Psychologists, Mental Health Nurses, Dietitians, specialist therapists and medics.

The successful candidate will be expected to deliver high quality psychosocial assessment and specialist CBT intervention to children, young people and adults with eating disorders. You will contribute to the broader aims of the service through joint working, consultation, training, supervision and service development. You will be joining the service at a real time of development and will be able to help influence change going forward.

You will benefit from an enthusiastic, hard-working and supportive peer group of CBT Therapists and other modality therapists/ Clinical Psychologists across the service. The post-holder will receive regular supervision and professional support from an experienced therapist and contact with other relevant specialist interest groups would be encouraged.

Applications will be welcome from suitably qualified CBT Therapists with BABCP registration.

Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of services including secondary mental health care across this area. Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health and forensic services including low and medium secure care.

The Trust also provides a range of physical health and well-being services in the community alongside a range of partners in the Lancashire, Cumbria and Sefton area.
