Coffee Shop Food Service Manager As the Food Services Manager you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the catering provision for this busy contract. You will also be responsible for ensuring that Compass provides the highest possible standard of catering service to our clients. From ordering ingredients to ensuring all meals are produced, presented and delivered to a high standard of quality. You will also be responsible for client’s service requirements, the training, development and management of staff, improving sales and meeting targets. More about the role: As a Coffee Shop Customer Service Manager, your main responsibilities will be: To complete the opening and closing checklists and to ensure that everything on them has been done To ensure that the front of house areas are clean, tidy and attractive during opening times To produce weekly rotas To place orders for stock to maintain the correct stock levels To ensure that all deliveries are checked and put away promptly and correctly To ensure waste is kept to a minimum during beverage production To delegate where necessary and ensure the team are pro-active at all times To cash up at the end of a late shift and complete beverage stock takes when required The completion of weekly bookwork and any other duties that are deemed necessary Be pro-active at all times and use initiative, diplomacy and discretion to solve any problems that may arise Who you are: As an experienced Food Service Manager, you will be highly enthusiastic about delivering the best Food and hospitality experience and inspire others to act similarly.
