Busy friendly sub contract precision engineering company have a number of new roles available as they put on a permanent night shift.
Ideally you will have previous turning experience and be able to set and operate a range of cnc lathes (Fanuc, Siemens and Heidenhein controls) although training can be given to people with a good engineering background and a desire to learn.
The role involves turning mix batch parts from a variety of metals producing parts for a range of industries including oils & Gas and automotive. You will be able to read engineering drawings, use basic inspection equipment , apply basic machine offsets and generally look after the machines (as mentioned training can be given).
Training will be on days, Shifts are Monday to Wednesday 17:30 - 06:00, Thursday 17:30 - 03:00. with overtime readily available.
