Our Wednesbury based manufacturer are looking for a CNC Turner Programmer / Setter / Operator to join their team on a full time and permanent basis working day shifts

As the CNC Programmer the role will be accountable for manufacturing a variation of 1 off small, medium & large batch work to tight tolerances and strict standards.

*Duties will include :*
  • You will be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC machinery (Turning)
  • Interpreting and working from engineering drawings
  • Uploading and editing machines using Fanuc controls
  • Set, adjust and change the tools as and when required
  • Use of gauges and other measuring equipment to ensure component meets required specifications
  • Ensure you adhere to company health, safety and environmental standards
  • Meeting and exceeding quality standards set

*Key Skills*
  • Essential that you have a minimum of 5 years CNC programme setting, operating experience
  • Essential you have experience in Fanuc controls
  • Have excellent attention to detail
  • Ideally you will have experience of working on small batch work
  • Ability for checking the quality of your own work

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £11.00-£14.00 per hour

Schedule:
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Wednesbury, West Midlands: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:
  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:
  • CNC programming: 5 years (required)
