CNC Turner Programmer £29,000 per year Lancashire Time Recruitment Solutions are excited to be working with large manufacturer based in the North West, our client uses the latest precision engineering equipment, as well as a highly-skilled workforce to produce large scale projects and one-off prototypes to businesses throughout the UK, Europe, America, Canada and the far East. Now due to continued growth and a busy order book they are looking to expand and are looking for a skilled and experienced CNC Turner Programmer to join the team. Ideally candidates should be qualified to a Level 3 in a mechanical or electrical discipline, either BTEC, C&G or NVQ, have served a formal apprenticeship and be able to demonstrate:
  • Setting up, programming and operation of CNC machines using appropriate speed/feeds and docs.
  • Accurate measurement using precision measuring equipment
  • Continually making attempts to improve productivity and work methods
  • Working to COSHH regulations and being aware of risk assessments and work procedures
  • Ensuring relevant documentation is complete
  • Ensuring equipment is maintained in good working order and faults reported immediately
  • Ensuring safety practices are carried out
  • Keeping work areas tidy and free from obstacles
  • Ensuring lifting equipment put away safely and kept tidy
