Are you an experienced CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator who has previous experience using CAD/CAM packages? Then apply today to start working as early as next week! You will join a well-established team and will set and operate their three-axis router to ensure all jobs are machined to the exact design specifications.

This role will become a permanent position after a successful 12 week probation period.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Setting, programming, and running CNC Machines using Auto CAD package with data taken from technical drawings
  • Programme and draw using Maestro and Alpha CAM software
  • Interpreting design ideas and preparing programs and documents from models for manufacture, including all critical dimensions, tolerances, finishes, and notes to operators.
  • Ensure all orders are manufactured to the production due dates and manufactured to the correct quality standards.
  • Assist the joinery team with the completion of assembling the components where required.

The hours for this position is Monday to Friday 08:00 – 16:30.

Candidates must have the following experience:
  • Be proficient in any recognized CAD/CAM packages, preferably Maestro and Alpha CAM
  • Experience in setting and operating a three Axis machine using CAD/CAM systems
  • Experience in planning and scheduling in a manufacturing environment.
  • Highly experienced CNC Programmer and Operator with a minimum of 5 years experience.
  • Experience with a variety of electric machinery and hand tools.

You will be paid an impressive rate of £13 - £16 per hour depending on experience.
