JOB TITLE: CNC MACHINIST - INTEGREX (Day Shift)

HOURS WORKED: 39 hrs per week working: Monday to Thursday 7.00am to 15.30pm and Friday 7.00am to 14.30pm.

Hourly Rate: Competitive

We are currently seeking a CNC Machinist - Integrex to join our team based in Lymington, Hampshire. Ensuring the best manufacturing techniques are carried out within the Machine Shop by practical application of the most appropriate methods of programming, setting and operation of the machine tool/tools and to stimulate an atmosphere of continuous improvement.

Key requirements of the role

· Programming, setting, and operating as required, all machines within the cell.

· In conjunction with the Team Leader, ensuring that the methods, tooling and fixtures used effectively achieve a cost-effective quality product in accordance with the production requirements.

· Monitoring the process during manufacture to ensure total process control is maintained.

· Ensuring an energetic pursuit of improved methods.

· Ensuring that the required Quality standards are achieved by strict adherence to the relevant company procedures.

· Ensuring that high standards of safety and housekeeping are maintained within the manufacturing area.

· Ensuring that preventative maintenance schedules are strictly carried out.

· The Maintenance of CNC Programs, tooling and fixturing records within the cell.

· Ensuring that information relating to the manufacturing process is accurately recorded, maintained and updated to reflect current practice.

· Ensuring that CNC programs are regularly backed up to a safe location

Essentially you will have: -

· A Minimum of 3 years’ experience working within a high precision manufacturing environment.

· Wide ranging manufacturing process knowledge, across differing materials in varying applications.

· Experience of working to engineering drawings or work instructions i.e. Job Cards.

· Knowledge of how to machine, handle and protect all types of manufactured components.

· Experience and ability to program, set and operate different machine tools.

· Completed a recognised apprenticeship in mechanical engineering.

· Ability to interpret technical drawings with a high-level understanding of geometric dimensions & tolerances.
