Beverston Engineering specialises in the manufacture of high precision engineering components. The company manufactures safety-critical parts for a wide range of industries such as aerospace, oil and gas, pharmaceutical and nuclear.

We are looking to recruit a fully skilled CMM Inspector / Programmer (Night Shift)

Responsibilities will include:

Operate Mitutoyo CMM Machines using MCOSMOS V3, both on-line and off-line

Use a range of inspection equipment to ensure dimensional, mechanical, and visual characteristics of each component adhere to drawing specifications

Must be capable and willing to do all aspects of Metrology

Work within defined Health and Safety guidelines

Produce non-conformance reporting

Ensure traceability of all components and paperwork

Maintain general cleanliness and housekeeping

Candidate requirements:

Solid background of mechanical inspection equipment / hand tools and understanding of GD&T

Excellent understanding of drawing interpretation, calibration, dimensional and visual inspection

A team player who will work well in our supportive team environment

Excellent computer and numerical skills

Flexible approach with the ability to follow detailed instructions

A pro-active and self-motivated individual

Shifts will be at our 16,420ft² premises based in Knowsley, Merseyside.

39 hours per week

9:30pm-7:15am MON to WED

8:00pm-5:15am THURS
