The Governors of Preshute C of E (VC) Primary School are looking to appoint a Club Leader to join our friendly and dedicated team to manage our successful before and after school childcare club.

We are looking for an experienced manager who is passionate about learning, sets high expectations and who shares our vision “Live Life, Love Learning”

Your Duties Will Include
  • Leading a small team to undertake the care of children and support their learning and development at our before and after school childcare club
  • Providing a safe environment adhering to Preshute’s frameworks and guidelines
  • Liaising with parents to ensure their needs and the needs of their children are met
Preshute Is Looking For a Candidate Who
  • Has high expectations for all and the ability to engage and motivate children
  • Stimulates, encourages and develops children’s play in a positive way
  • Builds effective relationships with children and brings enthusiasm to the role
  • Leads the team ensuring Preshute’s policies and procedures are followed at all times to meet the needs of the children
  • Continuously drives improvement and makes recommendations where policies and procedures need changing or updating
  • Is organised with good attention to detail to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the club
  • Is able to work as part of a team as well as on an individual basis
  • Is calm, patient and has a good sense of humour
  • Supports our Christian ethos
Visits to the school are welcome.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 7.45am – 8.45am & 2.50pm – 6.00pm (Mon-Thurs)/ 3.00pm – 5.15pm (Fri). Please note: the club finishing time is currently being reviewed - the club may finish by 5.30pm Mon-Fri with effect from September 2021

Contract type: Permanent contract
