£55,000-£75,000 per annum Base + 5% Bonus, 25 days holidays + Bank Holidays (with buy and sell holidays option available), 5% Pension (plus employer pension matching up to 10%), Flexi Employee Benefits - This role will require Security Clearance, therefore to apply for this role, you must be a UK Citizen, or have resided in the UK for the last 5 years. My client are the UK’s largest generator of low-carbon electricity, and they’re looking for an experienced Cloud Security Architect to come on board and work with them to protect their systems and manage their Azure site! They’re keen to hear from candidates who have good relevant architecture experience (gained within a solution architecture or design role, ideally within Azure or AWS), and can demonstrate a breadth of experience interacting with stakeholders and recommending solutions for clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement cybersecurity designs for systems and networks up to OFFICIAL SENSITIVE

• Provide advice on project costs, design concepts, or design changes.

• Lead a small team of engineers to implement security measures, with a focus on securing our platforms through automation, shift-left and infrastructure-as-code

• Own security policies and tools on the platform, for example our transit gateway networking architecture and elements of the pipeline

• Work with support teams to maintain platform security compliance, resolve incidents and defects

Key Experience

· Security architecture qualifications and experience (CISSP or SABSA)

· Knowledge of cloud security architecture, ideally AWS and/or Azure certified

· Proven ability to collaborate and communicate with both IT and business-facing colleagues

· An excellent awareness of the technology and best practice pertinent to their domain, and interest in maintaining that awareness

· Strong workshop facilitation skills

· Experience of designing, evaluating and selecting technical solutions for large complex business change programmes

· Significant experience of working with third parties such as solutions vendors, outsourced and research partners

· Experience of working with IT security operations, compliance, risk and governance practices
