The role: To provide clinical education to customers and sales team promoting the company’s Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Urology range of products (Equipment and Consumables) in both public and private hospitals.

Basic salary: £36,000 - £40,000 depending on experience

Products: 80% Obs/gynae diagnostic and therapeutic products - vacuum delivery system, membrane tests, Panniculus Retractor, uterine manipulator, dilator, oral and nasal aspirators

Area working: North UK (ideal location just Northern West Midlands)

Your experience:

  • Clinical or technical background is essential – Ideally a qualified Midwife or Nurse with a urology/ gynaecology background
  • Customer focused
  • 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Essential to have experience of medical device industry
  • Teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Being ethical, trustworthy, reliable and able to act in a confidential manner.
  • Commercial awareness and drive.
  • Excellent presentation and communicating skills
  • Strong verbal and written skills.

The role:

  • Conduct follow-up customer in-servicing to ensure equipment is functioning & used properly
  • Support customer masterclasses (organise logistics, deliver didactic & hands-on training)
  • Works closely with sales and marketing functions to execute consistent training activities
  • Assist Chief Medical Officer at ‘Train The Trainer’ events
  • Achieve KPI Goals
  • Establish professional customer/vendor relationships with appropriate customer personnel
  • Contact new and existing customers to discuss their needs and to explain how these needs could be met by our products
  • Emphasise product features based on analyses of customers’ needs and on technical knowledge of product capabilities and limitations
  • Collaborate with colleagues to exchange information (selling strategies & marketing info). Provide sales leads to Territory managers
  • Identify new clinical data to support products and provide sales talk track to Sales team.
  • Provide education and training to UK sales team and assist in onboarding of new starters, in regard to product knowledge.
  • Devise in house training programmes for both customers and colleagues.
  • Attend conferences to meet customers and discuss new product developments
  • Participate in company meetings to review sales performance and product development
