The Position

St John of God Mt Lawley Hospital is seeking applications for a Clinical Psychologist to join our Allied Health on a fixed term part time basis, working 30.4 hours a fortnight for 12 months with a possible extension.

You will provide advanced level of psychology services, comprehensive assessment and care planning whilst liaising with multi-disciplinary team to promote high-level clinical care to our patients in groups and individuals across a variety of acute and psychiatric specialties.

The Successful Candidate Will Have
  • A willingness and capacity to embrace the Mission and Values of St John of God Health Care.
  • Registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA).
  • High-level written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience/ability to provide group programs and individual therapy to child, adolescent and adult patients/clients presenting with a myriad of concerns.
  • Demonstration of research and evidence based practise methodologies and ability to undertake quality improvement activities.
