Main duties of the job

The role will involve directly undertaking assessments for children with complex neurodevelopmental presentations.

You will be expected to contribute to regular multi-disciplinary team case discussions, and supporting in developing complex MDT formulations and diagnostic decision-making.

There will be opportunity to contribute to the further development of a rolling programme of psychoeducational workshops for families and some direct therapeutic work.

You will provide training and support other professionals in the team

You will need to have some experience in the assessment of neurodevelopmental or related conditions, and be able to draw upon a range of psychological knowledge and competencies.

You will be expected to utilise research skills for audit, policy, service development and research within the area served by the team/service.

You should have good interpersonal skills and the ability to relate well with clinical teams.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
