VACANCY FOR A CLINICAL FELLOW POST IN GENERAL SURGERY - GLAN CLWYD HOSPITAL

Applications are invited for a Clinical Fellow post in General Surgery commencing as soon as possible and is fixed term for 12 months. The post offers excellent experience and developmental opportunities in elective and emergency General Surgery (although it is currently not recognized for training by the Postgraduate Dean). They will have their own educational supervisor. Active participation in surgical audit and clinical research projects will be encouraged. The appointee will have the opportunity to develop teaching skills within the department, and also through the undergraduate teaching programme.

About Us

Study leave will be encouraged and supported on an equivalent basis to that which applies to educationally approved posts, with ATLS courses are available locally, if required. Assistance with exam preparation (e.g. MRCS) and interview practice will be provided.
