We are searching for a Clinical Embryologist or Senior Clinical Embryologist to join our team based near Southampton. This role will support the Laboratory Manager to provide a high quality clinical embryology and andrology service to patients and multi-disciplinary colleagues.

Who are you?

The successful candidate will have a key role in the success of the Centre, conducting a full range of embryology and andrology procedures to a high standard, all the while keeping patients and colleagues informed about their treatment.

Candidates should be highly motivated in the pursuit of excellence and have a good knowledge of the HFEA Code of Practice. The ideal candidate would be HCPC registered or eligible to apply, and ICSI proficient. The post holder will participate in the on call and weekend rota.

In addition, the successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, organised and able to work under pressure, versatile and flexible, compassionate and empathetic, have outstanding attention to detail and show strong initiative and problem solving. For a senior position, the candidate will also be highly motivated to lead others.

Essential qualifications

· BSc or higher degree in biological science or other relevant subject

· ACE Certificate, STP or equivalent

· HCPC registered Clinical Embryologist, or eligible to apply

Essential experience

· At least 2 years of experience in all aspects of clinical embryology (4 years for senior)

· ICSI proficient
