Overview of Onyx Group

We are Onyx - a group of 3 specialist companies in the events, bars (which encompasses brand activations) and marine industries.

Onyx Eventsspecialises in creating and delivering corporate events that excite, immerse and emotionally engage people from start to finish. Founded in the West End of London in the early 80s as an AV company with a background of supercars and Formula 1, we have grown and pivoted over the past 4 decades, working with FTSE100 companies and local businesses alike, to become a next generational family company with global reach.

Onyx Bars and Activationswas founded in 2016 to fill a gap in the market of live festival bars and brand activations in the drinks sector, utilising our event experience to seamlessly weave bars into the fabric of any occasion. We have a growing fleet of sustainably-built bars that travel around Europe each summer pouring drinks to music festivals, boat shows and private parties.

Extreme Marineis our youngest company with our oldest heritage of marine expertise, having collaboratively spent 41 years in service with the RNLI and decades working in the marine industry. Water is our passion and is the reason we moved Onyx Events down to the South Coast all those years ago. Our marine network is unrivalled, specialising in on-water safety, logistics and event-support from Fliteboards to superyachts, from Lymington to Saudi Arabia.

Based in Lymington, Hampshire we are 15 minutes from the sea and just a stone’s throw from the New Forest. We are a family company who are driven by the desire to bring ideas to life and people together whilst enjoying every step of the journey.
