which sits within our Finance department on a permanent, full-time basis. This role is based in our Bristol office which is located in the heart of the city, a stone’s throw from Bristol Temple Meads although at present, a lot will be remote working.

What does a Client Intake Assistant do? I hear you ask… well for every client our lawyers work with, a number of essential checks - such as conflict searches and anti-money laundering need to be performed, you will be part of the friendly, hardworking team that carry out this essential background work.

Ideally our Client Intake Assistantwill:

  • Have experience in a similar New Business Intake or Client Intake role in the legal sector and/or in professional services.
  • Have an understanding of anti-money laundering, client due diligence and know your client requirements.
  • Have a general understanding of how to deal with conflicts of interest during the New Business Intake/Client Intake process.
  • Enjoy communicating with people at all levels and your colleagues in the wider finance team. You can expect to become a ’go to’ person for enquiries and will always be ready to respond in an efficient and professional manner.
  • A good working knowledge of MS Office applications (Outlook especially) is essential.

Another part of this team’s responsibility is to ensure all client information is processed in a professional and timely manner, with quality of data maintained at the highest standard.

We work in a fast-paced environment so you will need to keep up; adaptability and resilience are key to success in this role.
