Fantastic opportunity to join a leading, global Broker within their Real Estate speciality.

The Real Estate practice provides commercial real estate advice and broking solutions to property owners and investors predominantly in the UK and Europe. Working with a wide array of clients including FTSE250 companies, banks, pension funds, investment managers, asset managers and across a large spectrum of asset types such as residential, offices, warehousing and retail ensures a big variety in the day to day role of being a Client Advisor.

We will rely on you to:

  • Check market presentations and renewal documents ensuring renewal strategy is reflected
  • Lead PA/Travel and Engineering Inspection Renewal strategy activities and placement
  • Assist in preparation of client renewal reports
  • Manage premium billing, collection, settlement in accordance with Working Capital Management targets
  • Prepare and issue renewal documentation including the creation of invoices, evidence of cover documentation and renewal policy documentation.
  • Act as first point of contact within service team for day to day client insurance queries
  • Administer mid-term changes to risk
  • Attend Client and Insurer meetings as requested
  • Assist in the preparation of reports on specific projects, as requested
  • Undertake specified tasks as directed by management adhering to agreed timescales

What you need to have:

The role will require you to be personable and able to maintain relationships both internally and externally of Marsh. Most of all, the role will require you to have the desire to learn the fundamentals of real estate insurance and immerse yourself in the environment in which our clients operate. You will also need;

  • An awareness of the Client’s business, business issues, insurance programmes and service plans
  • Competency in Microsoft Office applications and adaptability to become competent in all relevant Marsh business systems.
  • People skills to liaise with the various divisions within Marsh to provide Client service solutions.
  • To work within FCA, Marsh Compliance and Marsh specific procedures and guidelines
  • To strive to deliver best practice, market leading service and solutions
