Leaders Romans Group are looking for a new Branch Support Manager to join us on a permanent basis based in our busy office in Crowthorne House, Wokingham.

This role is for a strong individual who has superb customer service skills and experience of both managing and supervising staff within a team. The main objectives of this role are to lead the Branch Support team, motivating and developing staff within the department, delivering and improving on the agreed Service Levels of the Client Accounts team to the business, as well as maintaining and improving relations internally around the wider business.

In this Branch Support Manager role, day to day you can expect to:

  • Superb customer service to clients & branches to promote positive public relations with Client Accounts via written and verbal communication.
  • Successfully bring together the North, Central and South regions as one team and onto one instance of the Web Help Desk without causing disruption to the wider business.
  • Maintaining regular and consistent communications/meetings with Regional Directors and Senior Branch staff in order to understand and overcome issues faced within areas around the business.
  • Developing a Landlord Management role within the team who can communicate with Landlord customers efficiently and effectively.
  • Problem solving with senior management on procedural / departmental processes.
  • Management of Client Accounts staff including identifying development needs, regular staff reviews, succession planning, recruitment and training requirements.
  • Reviewing core team processes with a view to streamline and adopt alternative approaches to specific workloads in order to achieve efficiencies.
  • Assessing workload across the team and prioritise/redistribute accordingly.
  • Conducting regular 1 to 1 meetings with direct reports.
  • BACS / CHAPS creation and submissions.
  • AWACS / ARUCS report processing.
  • Dealing with more complex accounting issues, maintaining an appetite for sharing knowledge and development of staff to deal with queries.
  • Responsible for the agreed Service Levels provided to the business through the Web Help Desk and phone system.
  • Produce and deliver key reporting stats to Directors based on team Service Levels, to include both Web Help Desk and phone performance.

Essential:

  • Excellent awareness in all aspects of client accounting tasks and procedures.
  • Ability to identify problems and suggest/provide solutions.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Ability to motivate the team as well as develop and progress staff within the team.
  • Keen to handle and resolve difficult situations.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage a busy workload.
  • Confident, organised and motivated individual who is recognised as an ambassador for the group
  • Able to share new ideas to improve efficiencies within the team including performance and processes.
