If so, Commercial’s Managed IT Division are looking for a Client Account Manager to join their growing team.

The role

As a Client Account Manager, you will be responsible for the retention of our clients whilst also searching for new sales opportunities within our existing client base.

You will be a point of contact for our clients, and be required to discover new opportunities and enhance existing client relationships, which will then allow the Business Development Managers to focus on searching for new business opportunities..

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Internal Account Management - dealing with customer queries and quote requests for existing clients and building and growing relationships at all levels within their business.
  • Arrange Appointments – for the Business Development Managers and Account Directors to meet with existing customers to discuss new projects which you have uncovered and further opportunities within those accounts
  • Proactively Prospect – actively promote our solution portfolio to ensure client retention and increase repeat business.
  • Review Renewals – working with the operations and sales support team to audit and maximise renewal retention for our existing clients and uncover new upsell opportunities.
  • Quote and Close – professionally produce proposals and quotations on some of the smaller transactional business and any self-generated smaller opportunities that you find within the existing client accounts.
  • Keep the CRM and Opportunities Updated - to provide accurate forecasting to the business.
  • Achieve Targets- a minimum of your allocated Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Gross Profit target
  • Achieve KPIs - as set out by the Sales Director
  • Follow Best Practice methodologies to achieve positive outcomes

About you

  • You will be able to demonstrate excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • You will be a motivated individual with a passion and enthusiasm for your work
  • You will have a clear, professional and personable telephone and video conference manner
  • You thrive in an environment where you are required to work independently, whilst also building exceptional working relationships
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm and a desire to grow and develop your career within the IT Sales sector
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent time management and organisational skills
  • You will have a keen eye for detail and professionalism with emphasis on achieving goals and KPI’s
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems would be advantageous
