Dellner Polymer & Glass Solutions operates from 5 different sites across the UK providing technologically advanced vibration control, rubber fabrication and bonding solutions for a global market. Additionally, we design, engineer, manufacture, test and supply specialist glass and glazing products for the architectural, global rail, transport, security and museum showcase markets.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Maintenance team as a Cleaner to work at Dellner Romag, Consett. The successful candidate will be responsible for the general upkeep and cleaning of factory areas.

Main Duties include;

· Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors and stairs of various types.

· Dusting desks, countertops, furniture, ledges and skirting boards

· Cleaning windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces

· Scrubbing and sanitising toilets, sinks and kitchen fixtures.

· Cleaning kitchen area and operating the dishwasher.

· Cleaning and disinfecting restrooms and ensuring soap and paper dispenses are well stocked.

· Carry out deep cleaning of laminating rooms.

· Emptying bins and taking out the garbage

· Maintaining cleaning products and requesting new supplies when necessary

· Reporting any breakages that occur during the cleaning process.

· Informing the line manager of repairs that need to be done.

· Adhere to QHSE and other company policies and procedures

· Support the needs of the business by undertaking any task as requested by management the task is within your capability and appropiate training is provided

Specific person criteria;

· Experience in a similar role

· Good interpersonal and communication skills

· Physical abilities

· Good numeracy and literacy

· Able to use a variety of cleaning products and equipment.

· High level of attention to detail
