Cleaner/Housekeeper

We have a fantastic opportunity for X2 Permanent (Term Time only) Cleaner/Housekeeper’s to join our Dumfries and Galloway Schools account in Wallace Hall Primary and Academy Station Road Thornhill DG3 5DS. This role is on-site based.

The salary is £9.90 per hour

Amey delivers facilities and estate management services to the Dumfries and Galloway Schools Private Finance Initiative across an estate of 12 schools.

We work in partnership with our clients and end-users to ensure our 24/7 services are delivered to the highest standard with minimum impact or disruption to day-to-day operational requirements of the schools.

The standard hours of work are 35 Hours Per Week. (Shift pattern to be discussed at interview, split shifts Mon to Fri 0430 am to 0800am & 1600 to 1930 (2 shift system)

• Provide a cleaning service that delivers to our contractual requirements
• Control stock levels and order consumables
• Operate machinery safely and in line with the guidelines and training provided
• Ensure a high-quality service is provided to the building users at all times ensuring customer satisfaction
• Responsible for ensuring H&S standards are achieved across the contract.
• This role will also support both local and business zero carbon programmes, working towards zero carbon in a strategic and lean manner as and where it is appropriate.
