Devon Norse are the strategic partnership between Norse Group and Devon County Council, delivering a range of cleaning, catering and facilities management services across the local area.

One of our key commercial services is cleaning, and we currently have a vacancy for a Cleanerat our partnership with Exeter Pinhoe Primary school. This opportunity is a part time, permanentposition offering 10hours per week, Monday to Friday 3.30pm to 5.30pm. The hourly rate for this position is £8.91.

In this role, it will be your responsibility to maintain the agreed cleaning standard and hygiene levels of the site, undertaking periodic and ad-hoc cleaning as required. You will need to build a good relationship with the school on-site and your area supervisor, as you will receive direction from both.

Our Successful Candidate;

Whilst it would be ideal for you to have previous cleaning experience, either domestically or commercially, we will offer full training for the right individual. We will be looking for you to demonstrate;

  • Ability to deliver a good level of customer service
  • Excellent communication skills, comfortable engaging with members of the public
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work effectively under minimal supervision
