Classroom support - Autism Support Worker BD9 £80-90 per day Vision for Education is seeking a compassionate Autism Support Worker. If you have relevant experience, we want to hear from you! We are recruiting for full-time Autism Support Workers in the Bradford area. Are you passionate about making a difference to the lives and outcomes of children with autism? Are you able to provide a positive impact towards children with autism and complex needs? Do you want to earn up to £90 a day AND enjoy your evenings and weekends! The attributes we require in our staff: Caring and compassionate Extremely Adaptable to different situations. Outgoing and confident. Exceptional communication skills with both children and other staff members. Strong-willed and dedicated. Experience of working with Autism, children with autism and a care background is something that we look for in our candidates as we require candidates that are confident and experienced in order to contribute to the outcomes of children with severe complex needs. The duties of an Autism Support Worker include: 1:1 support with children from age 5-19. Provide nurturing and calming support for some of the most vulnerable students with EHCP’s. Have an understanding of autism and how to work effectively with children with Autism. Encouraging the social and emotional development of pupils. Working with small groups of children providing intervention support. Working with children with a range of severe complex needs. Work collaboratively with other staff members.
