An exciting opportunity to add to an already successful team at a rapidly growing school.

Required from September 2021, an effective and enthusiastic Class Teacher that will be able to provide an engaging classroom learning environment. The successful candidate will need to be committed to providing a warm, welcoming, stimulating learning experience for the children in their class as well as having a positive impact on all of the children at Priestley during this exciting time of expansion. The post is initially a fixed-term one year contract, most likely to have the responsibility of teaching a KS1 class. The flexibility to be happy to teach across both KS1 & KS2 will be an advantage.

The Main Areas Of Responsibility Will Include
  • Developing our inclusive curriculum in order to improve outcomes for all pupils.
  • Keeping children at the heart of the teaching and learning process at Priestley.
  • Experience of teaching in both Key Stage One and Two.
  • Embedding our self-evaluation systems and ensuring consistency across school.
  • Supporting the effective use of assessment across the school to evaluate and raise standards of achievement.
  • An outstanding practitioner with a consistent high expectation of both pupil and staff achievement, attainment and behaviour.
  • Be an excellent communicator with good interpersonal skills who can fit into a team.
Hours of work: Full-time

Contract type: Fixed-Term for one year
