About Us & The Role

Due to our growing pupil numbers, the Governors are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, dedicated and highly effective teacher who is committed to supporting our children’s academic and pastoral development. Applicants should be vibrant, creative and ready to join a friendly, but focused team who have a strong commitment to raising achievement and attainment.

We were judged to be a good school by OFSTED in June 2023 and the lead inspector noted that ‘staff and pupils have a strong bond’ and that ‘all staff are proud to work at the school. They feel part of a dedicated and cohesive team.’

Key Requirements

We have the opportunity to teach our Y3/4 class in separate year groups and cover PPA one afternoon.

Are you
  • Dedicated to working in close partnership with children, staff and parents within our caring school and community?
  • A creative and enthusiastic teacher?
  • Flexible and willing to show initiative?
  • Organised and prepared to work tirelessly to find the answers to any challenge?
  • An effective classroom practitioner with high expectations of achievement and behaviour?
  • A highly motivated person who can demonstrate recent successful planning and delivery of teaching, learning and assessment in the Key Stage 2 age range?
  • Willing and able to lead a subject such as Geography Music, or French?
  • Adaptable, ambitious, positive and reflective?
  • Kind, compassionate and do you put children at the heart of everything?
  • Determined to transform the lives of the children, families and communities our school serves?

We are looking for practitioners with
  • a record of good or outstanding classroom practice
  • high standards and expectations for pupil achievement and behaviour
  • the ability to plan and differentiate for pupil progress
  • excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills

We offer
  • A recent grading of GOOD by Ofsted
  • A dedicated, enthusiastic and professional school team who have a clear shared vision and wide-ranging expertise
  • A skilled, ambitious governing body, committed to helping the school move forwards
  • Fantastic surroundings – our school is lucky to have large playing fields, woodland and ‘wild’ areas
  • Supportive staff and enthusiastic pupils
  • A safe, happy, caring and vibrant ethos and environment

If you feel you have the experience and necessary skills, then we would like to hear from you. Informal visits, by appointment, are welcome and encouraged. Please contact the school office to book an appointment.
