Siamo Recruitment is looking for Class 2 Drivers for our prestigious client based in Wednesbury who are one of the UK’s largest Independent manufacturer and Distributors of goods.

We are looking for drivers on the AM shifts who are available to start ASAP, so please hurry and apply.

PLEASE NOTE: Drivers must be prepared to do 1-2 nights out per week. (Not Every Week)

Job Description
  • Mixture of RDC and Store Deliveries.
  • 5 -7 drops per shift on average.
  • Operating Class 2 vehicles with both (Box and Curtain sided trailers).
  • Some light handballing involved on occasions (handling weight up to 5kg).
  • AM shifts (Start times between - 04:00 - 06:00 - Mon to Fri).
  • Average shift length is 11 hours.
  • 1-2 nights out per week.
  • Checking necessary paperwork
  • Making sure load is secure before setting off.
  • General Vehicle checks before and after shift.


Rates Of Pay

PAYE

£13.00 - (Mon to Fri)

UMBRELLA

£15.00 - (Mon to Fri)

Nights Out - £25.00 per night

Driver Requirements
  • Overall, excellent environment to work in and the team are very friendly.
  • Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years UK experience driving a Class 2 vehicle.
  • A valid DQC & Digital Tachograph Card.
  • No more than 6 points on the licence, no DD, DR, CD, IN, TT.
  • Good understanding of English is Essential.
