The Role

Based at our Distribution Warehouse in Marchington, this role is responsible for the transportation, installation, and collection of equipment across our varied client base in the UK. This is a hands-on-role, perfect for someone looking for a varied role of driving and installation.

Key responsibilities include:

• Loading and unloading refrigeration units in Marchington Warehouse;
• Working closely with the Warehouse team to ensure the safe and effective racking of equipment for transit;
• Delivery and collection of units to customers across United Kingdom and further afield as required;
• Installation of refrigeration units and Cold-Room construction onsite (full training provided);
• Management of Delivery and Collection paperwork via system;
• Compliance with company, regulatory & customer health and safety policies.
• Engage with customers on site in a customer service role.
• Generate load sheets on Excel detailing vehicle content
• Other duties as required by Head Office.

Experience & Qualifications

We have an experienced team of project managers, drivers and porters who will provide on the job development and coaching. Additional criteria includes:

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Experience driving of HGV’s (ideally, however newly qualified are encouraged to apply!)
• Must be able to lift, push and pull equipment heavy equipment
• Highly motivated;
• Excellent time keeping;
• Flexible and adaptable attitude;
• Excellent problem solver and resourceful thinker;
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.

• Working pattern is Monday – Friday with occasional weekend work available with allowances
