Class 1 and 2 Drivers

At Blue Arrow we are looking for reliable and proficient LGV C+E and C Drivers for our prestigious client based in North Yorkshire.

Pay rates are as follows:
Class 1

£14.30ph - Days

£19.02ph - Nights after 21:00

£21.45ph - OT after 37.5 weekly hours

Class 2

£13.17ph - Days

£17.51 - Nights after 21:00

£19.76 - OT after 37.5 weekly hours

Plus £20 daily attendance bonus capped at £100 per week for x5 shifts

This is a temporary role however there are opportunities for this to progress further for the right driver, so if you’re looking for a new LGV C+E Driver position then we have the perfect opportunity for you.

Our client operates Monday - Friday across with various start times on days, these are generally between 04:00AM - 09:00AM.

The role will be collections and deliveries to building sites and unmarked buildings - although this is paid as a class 1 role it is likely there will be more driving of a class 2 due to the nature of your drops - you will however always be paid at the above class 1 rates if you are a class 1 driver.

You will be required to plan your own routes whilst delivering and also using a handheld device to log your deliveries.

Full training with be given for all elements of the role.

Qualifications

In order to process your application, you must have the following:

• HGV Class 1 entitlement
• CPC
• Digi tacho card

Additionally, we will also need to perform a basic background check (DBS) for all work carried out with this client.

We cannot accept more than 6 points or DR on a licence.
