The team you will be a part of


The Claims team investigates and settles claims that involve customers and property and personal damage claims for and against the organization . Examines claim forms and other records to determine insurance coverage. Utilizes various methods of investigation and negotiates settlement with claimants in accordance with prescribed authority.

This role in summary


Investigate all claims to the best possible outcome using the relevant business processes and work instructions.

Your responsibilities will include


  • Ensuring that all information is captured and recorded on the in house system.
  • Assisting colleagues with training/mentoring, giving advice, drafting response letters.
  • Reviewing reports/quantum documents, negotiating/making payments, undertaking monthly file reviews for all matters with risk value over 2K to ensure all financial information and product information is accurate.
  • Working as part of a team and taking an active part in sharing knowledge and experience.
  • Participate in CI Work with the Global Legal Team.
  • Communicating with customers via all mediums used within the department.
  • Reviewing adhoc reports to ensure data integrity.
  • File Management

  • Strong negotiation and research skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Good Written and Oral communication Skills
  • Good Technical Knowledge
  • Ability to think outside the box

Preferred skills and experiences


  • Interest/understanding of the UK legal system
  • Legal qualification Level 3 or above
