The Role:

We are seeking a Recovery Handler within our team in Orpington who can demonstrate good communication skills across all levels and work well as part of a team and willing to cover for colleagues in their absence. This would be an ideal opportunity for a school/college leaver looking to start a career within a law firm. Full training will be provided.

1. Working on behalf of a large insurance company and liaising with their clients and brokers.

2. You are there to get the claim processed quickly and correctly in seeking compensation from the at fault party and their insurers

3. Working on a claim throughout the whole process from first notification of the accident until the matter is resolved

Responsibilities:

- Liaise with the insurer client closely, the policyholder, third-party insurers, brokers and solicitors

- Use the insurer client’s case management system

- Investigate each claim

- Apply for police reports

- Review CCTV footage

- Ensuring a fair settlement is reached

- Good customer service for the client

- Work closely with those around you and offer support guidance to ensure all claims run smoothly in a proactive manner

- Dealing with all correspondence

- Answering calls promptly in an enthusiastic, courteous and efficient manner

- Identifying and responding to the needs of customers, resolving queries where possible

- Act in a professional manner at all times

- Undertake appropriate training and development in relation to the role.

- Adhoc duties of a reasonable nature which may be requested from time to time
