About The Company
Our client is a 24-hour emergency call out service. As they continue to grow rapidly, they are looking for a Claims Handler to join their team based in their office in Kiln Farm, Milton Keynes. The company offer heating, plumbing, roofing and electrical callouts.
Job Description
As a Claims Handler your main duties will include:
- Dealing with high call and email volumes and providing excellent customer service to their customers every time
- Supporting the Service Manager to adhere to Service Level Agreements and exceeding KPI’s
- Operating on multiple platforms in order to manage and update jobs in real time
- Organising schedules, providing job information and utilising our fleet for their team of engineers out on the road
- Work proactively and collaboratively across teams to ensure service standards are maintained and improved upon
- Other typical clerical / administrative duties
- Good education to GCSE standard or equivalent
- Customer Service Experience (Essential)
- Computer Literate (Essential)
- Administrative Experience (Desirable)
- Good Telephone Manner
- Excellent Time Management
- Able to remain calm under pressure
- Strong Communicator
- Able to work independently and use initiative, whilst also being a strong team player
- Dependable and flexible
- Punctual, organised and efficient whilst working towards tight deadlines
- Pro-active and enthusiastic
Your normal hours of work are 7.30am - 5pm, Monday to Friday.
You will be required to work every other weekend. You will receive 2 days off in return for working a full weekend.
