Our client is looking to increase their market leading Claims Handling team with two more members of staff. You will be well rewarded with a starting salary (dependent on experience) with progression opportunities and the possibility, if not already achieved, to be funded for your CERT (CII) qualifications.

As a Claims Handler for this property claim specialist business, you will take all claims details and assist the customers in working through obtaining quotes, engaging with accredited contractors for damage repair along with liaising with the insurance companies to efficiently pay out on claims get repairs completed.

This role is office based - Monday - Friday, 9 am-5 pm.

To give you an idea of how this flexible role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:

  • Take all claims details and determine liability
  • Organise contractors and manage through the repairs
  • Chase payments
  • Efficiently liaise with customers to give them as smooth a process as possible

To be a success in this Claims Handler role, you will need excellent communication skills, attention to detail.

  • Previous experience working within claims would be an advantage but the client will look at a variety of backgrounds in customer service.
