Civil Foreman | Perth, Australia

Client: Our client are recognised as one of WA’s leading mid-tier contractors, with an annual turnover of more than $100 million providing vital services to Western Australian mining and government infrastructure projects.

They are coming over to the UK and Ireland to interview candidates with Civils experiences to join their team in Perth, WA. Face to face interviews will commence March 1st 2024.

Projects are typically in regional areas of Western Australia, and employees work on a 2 week on, 1 week off basis.

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Foreman / General Foreman is the responsible for driving progress, in a safe and timely manner. Duties include:

  • Ensure the highest standards of safety are always maintained.
  • Undertake daily planning for daily task delivery, as directed by the Project Manager and General Foreman.
  • Assess daily progress against schedule and report appropriately.
  • Ensure quality of work meets engineering drawings, contract specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct daily Pre-Start Meetings (and weekly Toolbox Meetings as required)
  • Supervise the use of machinery and equipment and provide coaching as required.
  • Work with Asset & Compliance team to coordinate any changes to plant & equipment as required.
  • Ensure all site daily Supervisor project reporting is completed on time and with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Manage resource roster requirements and communicate resource needs.

Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 Years’ experience as a Civil Foreman / General Foreman
  • Experienced in the construction of roads, drainage, earthworks and general civil projects.
  • Fantastic attitude with a safety always comes first mindset.

Remuneration and Benefits:

  • FIFO position working two weeks on and one week off.
  • Business visa, flights to Australia, relocation assistance and 90 days temporary accommodation provided.
