We are looking for enthusiastic, energetic and confident day center activity workers to support Children and Young People during the summer holidays. We also offer flexible work during all half term holidays and offer permanent full time and part contracts throughout the year. This position is perfect if you are looking for experience supporting Children and Young People.

The hours of work for the summer holiday club are 9.00am and15.30pm Monday to Friday. The club will run for 4 weeks during August 2022 starting on the 01.08.2022.

The children and young people we support have complex needs. Some of the children and young people we support are diagnosed with ASD and ADHD. Some of the children and young people we support can present with challenging behavior.

Supporting children and young people with fun activities organized in the summer holiday club

Emphasis is on having fun and helping the child establish positive community links

Working with the child’s family and professionals to support outcomes for the child

The ability to get to the day center by 9.00am based in Llanelli

Hours of work are flexible and to suit the candidate.

Reliability is essential to support continuity and consistency for child and family

Candidate must be willing to undergo relevant DBS check and training

Experience of working with children or adults desirable but not essential

FSW offers the following:

Overall rate of £11.00 per hour
