Who are we?

The Podcast Guys® is an international podcast production company, working with some of the world’s leading brands to develop, produce, launch, and distribute branded content for internal and external marketing, learning & development, and communications strategies. With production offices in London and New York, we are looking for a London-based Chief Operating Officer to join the leadership team and support the CEO with the rapid growth of the business.

You will have extensive experience running production or creative teams, with excellent knowledge of the media, marketing, creator, and podcasting/vodcasting landscape. We are looking for someone with a background that brings innovation and that wants to be part of a fast-growing business

Key Responsibilities

· Drive operational excellence and growth across each service line at The Podcast Guys®, including developing best practices that provide efficiency while promoting ideas to accelerate growth.

· Manage, build and develop a diverse and inclusive production team.

· Improve existing or develop new processes to keep our team as efficient as possible whilst identifying operational and structural improvement opportunities.

· Develop strategies to ensure that the business provides the very best experience to our clients whilst ensuring operational efficiencies.

· Create the vision on which we base both our employee value proposition and external employer brand.

· Represent our mission, vision & values, both inside and outside the organisation.

· Represent, promote, and advocate for The Podcast Guys® at industry shows, conferences, and across digital media.

Qualifications & Experience

· You have 5+ years of operations and leadership experience in a media production environment.

· Well-developed project-management skills – being organised and disciplined, showing attention to detail, and following up doggedly to ensure the right results.

· You have experience building, managing, and retaining teams across multiple sites, including remote teams, to deliver projects on time and within budget.

· Independent-minded, open, direct, informative, and collaborative.

· Hands-on, entrepreneurial style with a strong bias for action and results; thrives in unstructured environments with a focus on innovation.

· Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal skills, with the ability to develop efficient processes and clear communications for The Podcast Guys® and our customers
