NRL are pleased to announce that they have been awarded the contract to provide supplementary labour for the 2023 Statutory Outage at HartlepoolWe are seeking a number of Chefs to support the existing catering team for the duration of the outage and potentially longer term.The successful candidates will be working in the site canteen and responsible for;Employing food safety best practices and makes sure that all kitchen staff members do the same.Acts with appropriate caution in a dangerous environmentEnsuring health and safety regulations are followedEnsuring that the kitchen and service areas are clean and tidy,Following instructions from supervisors to ensure that food and beverage is properly produced and servedWorks quickly and accurately during busy periods, such as weekends and evenings Qualifications or Required ExperiencePrevious experience as a Chef in fast paced Kitchens would be preferredBTEC/NVQ or equivalent qualification in craft-based trainingLevel 3 and/or 4 Food Safety and Health & SafetyAwareness of risk assessment and working safely with equipmentAbility to follow work instructionsThere is also an expectation to undertake further training as required in line with the clients and operational requirements.Current security clearance would be advantageous but not essential as we can put workers through the security clearance process for the roles.Attractive overtime rates are paid on any hours after 37.5 hours each week or weekend working.We provide all the necessary training that you would need to undertake the role and put candidates through their nuclear clearance to access the site.
