We have an exciting opportunity at our site in Tonbridge, for a Chef de Partie to join the team at Accent.

You will be working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm. This role is term time only.

The food offer is fresh food cooked from scratch so excellent culinary skills are required with a passion for giving children the best possible lunch experience. You will be cooking for teachers and support staff. You will be working with a team of staff and you will report to the Chef Manager.

To be successful in this role you will be:

* An absolute foodie with a chef background, this is a very-hands on role and you will be required to cook.

* Exceptional standards in all aspects of food service; attention to detail is vital

* Proven track record in a high volume, quality catering establishment

* Good communication and IT skills

* Innovative person with a positive out going disposition and a can-do approach

* Proven track record of continually improving standards and achieving targets is essential

*Experience working in Independent schools or high end B&I

This is a customer facing position so in addition to the above you will also need good communication skills and be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the English language.

Experience in a similar role would be an advantage but full training will be provided for the successful candidate.
