The Inn at Whitewell is an award winning country Inn, with 23 letting bedrooms and a self-catering cottage situated in one of the most beautiful parts of England. Located on the River Hodder and surrounded by stunning fells and woodlands.

Head chef Jamie Cadman runs a team of 9 chefs, preparing modern British dishes using locally sourced ingredients. The kitchen is a busy friendly environment and all the staff at the Inn at Whitewell are appreciated and well looked after by this family run business.

Live in accommodation is available in our beautiful 16th century farmhouse close to the Inn and a staff car is provided.

Job Description

The position available is for a dynamic hard working person who wants to join a family run business and work within a motivated team of 9 chefs who use only the freshest and local ingredients.

Applicants should have experience within a similar background, working with fresh meat, fish & game, must be reliable, hard working and want to be part of a valued friendly busy team.
  • In return we offer a very competitive salary T £25,000
  • Approx. 40hrs/per week including evenings, weekends & public holidays
  • Mixture of straight and split shifts (usually 5 of each over 2 weeks).

Working directly with the restaurant manager, organising and handling front of house waiting on team.
