Our client in Lands End are looking for an experienced Chef De Partie to join their Kitchen Team.
To assist in creating dishes inspired by local & seasonal products.
Work as part of the kitchen team under the direction of the Head Chef, Sous Chef to support the demands of the kitchen.
To support the Head Chef in ensuring the efficient, & effective running of the Kitchen.
Ensuring that the preparation & presentation of the food is of a high standard, & complies with food safety regulations as well as giving your support to the Head Chef in that of the achievement of budgeted food gross profit.
Main Responsibilities
  • Ensuring high hygiene & health and safety are maintained at all times
  • Complying with all company policies & procedures & all statutory regulations & food hygiene policies
  • Maintain a positive & pro-active attitude at all times
  • To ensure all food is served to the required company standard.
  • Actively seek to improve skills & achieve personal development
  • Understand the 14 allergens, be aware of the potential risk to customers, pass your knowledge onto Commis chefs & have a knowledge of how this affects your day to day duties  Ensure all SFBB & DFSC documentation is completed accurately as instructed by your line manager
  • Ensure that food storage areas are maintained in accordance with the company’s Food Hygiene, Healthy & Safety & Environmental policies & procedures  Keeping all working areas clean and tidy & ensure no cross contamination
  • Measure dishes ingredients & portion sizes accurately
  • Deal with the arrival of deliveries & ensure stock rotation is conducted effectively
  • Preparing & cooking ingredients necessary & assisting in all sections of the kitchen as directed by the Head Chef, Sous Chef or Chef in charge.
    • This is a full time permenant position with an annual salary of £25000 - £28000 depending on experience.
