We are looking for Chefs to join our kitchen team at a busy, food-led, water-side independent pub.

THE PUB

We are located in Maldon Essex, one of the oldest recorded towns in Essex. Thames sailing barges, the lifeblood of Maldon trade for hundreds of years, line the water in front of the pub

THE KITCHEN

In this kitchen you will find fresh, local ingredients to produce hearty food. You’ll also have the opportunity to innovate and create delicious specials and help to mould the main menu.

  • Assist the Head Chef and the team in preparing and serving fresh food to the highest standard.
  • Demonstrate a passion to deliver fantastic food consistently.
  • A positive attitude is essential whilst taking pride in what they have created and served.
  • You will need to work at a fast consistent pace in a busy atmosphere.

JOB DUTIES

  • Follow recipes and presentation specifications
  • Prepare food and use equipment safely and efficiently whist adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Assist with cleaning and kitchen organisation.
  • Replenish food sections as needed throughout the shift.
  • Role will require evenings and weekends.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From £12.00 per hour
