CHC Strategic Manager
South Tyneside Joint Commissioning Unit (JCU) has an exciting new opportunity for the right candidate to support the transformation of health and care services for the local population and ensure that people receive the right support, at the right time, in the right place.
The JCU works across the CCG and local authority to deliver integrated services for residents and a new role of CHC Strategic Manager has been created to support our high-performing Continuing Healthcare (CHC) team to drive further system-wide transformation.
We are seeking a dynamic, passionate and determined individual to provide strategic leadership and enhance the qualiry and consistecy of CHC across the local system. We require somebody with vision, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to develop strong multi-agency relationships.
The role will involve working across health and social care on number of key projects and work streams related to the CHC National Framework to support in the delivery of our Transformation Agenda.
The successful applicant will be instrumental to the further development of a culture of innovation and excellence and provide both visible and strategic leadership to challenge the status quo, whilst ensuring alignment across work streams and services. You must be able to demonstrate an understanding of both the NHS and LA priorities in respect of the CHC National Framework and how these are set, and clearly articulate how you will work towards our alliancing principles.
You will be educated to Masters Degree level/post-registration qualification level/postgraduate diploma or have significant relevant experience.
