Who Are We:

Since 1986 the CRRC has been helping sick, injured, and unwanted pets. We have rescued and rehomed more than 25000 cats, kittens, rabbits, and guinea pigs, and normally help around 1000 animals each year all based in our Centre in Sidlesham.

The Role:

The Fundraising and Community Officer will take the Cat and Rabbit Rescue out into the community to raise awareness of the work that we do through talks, presentations, and fundraising events.

You will be working alongside our Fundraising and Media officer on major events.

Who you are:

An outgoing and creative person with an eye for detail and an excellent communicator.

A multitasker who can organise various projects and campaigns within our local and wider community.

An ability to network and build relationships with local community groups, organisations, media, and businesses.

An ability to develop presentations and publications that highlight the work of the Charity.

Desirable:

Marketing, Public relations, public speaking, or communications experience.

Previous experience of working within a charity setting.

Location:

The Cat and Rabbit Rescue Centre in Sidlesham.

If invited for interview, you will be offered the opportunity to look around the Centre.

Job Type: Full-time, permanent role, flexible workdays Monday to Sunday to fit in with events.

Average 37.5 hours per week. Shorter working hours may be considered.
