PGL is looking for enthusiastic candidates to join our team as Centre Support Assistants at our Windmill Hill activity centre in East Sussex.

As a Centre Support Assistant, you’ll contribute to the general presentation of the centre and ensure it is well maintained and looked after, keeping up the cleanliness and hygiene standards of all staff and guest accommodation.

If you’re looking for a gateway into a career in the outdoors but as yet hold no formal qualifications, this could be the position for you. No formal qualifications are necessary for this role as full training will be provided.

Key responsibilities include:

· Carrying out regular patrols of centre grounds.

· Keeping accurate records of any visitors/deliveries onto the centre.

· Having a working knowledge of any security systems in place, for example, CCTV and barrier entry.

· Responding to any guest queries – solving any issues and communicating outcomes to other colleagues/departments as necessary.

· Supporting/enforcing noise curfews to limit the impact on guest accommodation areas.

· Responding to any First Aid incidents ensuring all paperwork is completed and accurate.

· Responding to any Emergency situations and playing an active role in their management, implementing the company procedures as and when required.

What we are looking for:

We’re looking for people who are enthusiastic; enjoy working as part of a fast-paced team and are willing to learn. Many of our Activity staff originally joined PGL in this role.

Successful applicants are required to undergo an enhanced DBS disclosure, which PGL will pay for.
