Horizon Leisure Centres are currently looking to recruit a Part-time Centre Attendant at our Waterlooville Leisure Centre. As a Centre Attendant, you will be responsible for assisting the duty management team in the provision of a first class leisure facility to all our customers.

Your primary responsibilities as a Centre Attendant will be to;

Welcome and assist customers with general enquiries.

• Understand and be knowledgeable about our products and services.
• Undertake life guarding duties as directed by the Duty Management Team.
• Maintain and monitor all facilities to ensure cleanliness is paramount and always free of hazards.
• Be responsible for ensuring customers are treated with respect and that they respect their surroundings and our facilities
• Set-up and take down of sports equipment according to schedules.

Personal Specification*

Qualifications & Education

*
RLSS UK National Pool Lifeguard Certificate.

• HSE First Aid Qualification desirable
• Certificates in COSHH & Health & Safety desirable
• A good general standard of education

Experience & Competencies

• Experience of working in a customer services environment
• Experience as an attendant in a wet and dry centre
• Must be self-motivated and a self-starter
• Excellent team player
• Flexible approach to undertaking assignments given
• Approachable
• Physically fit
• Good communicator
• Flexible

The right person will be outgoing, friendly, a strong team player and have excellent customer service skills. Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential. Full training and iHasco courses will be provided to the successful applicant.

Vacany Details*
Salary: £8,803.08 pro-rated per annum
Hours: 19 hours per week
Shift Patten: Tuesday 1600-2130, Friday 1600-2130, Sunday 1000-1830.
