Catering Manager 15.39 per hour - Taunton - Great Work/Life Balance!!We have a fantastic opportunity here at a Leading Contract Catering Company, for an experienced Catering Manager to join our team based at a unit in Taunton.As the Catering Manager you will lead and develop your team, provide exceptional service to our client and customers and deliver great results for the company. You will create a positive safety and wellbeing culture throughout the team to ensure the safety of everyone in your department.The hours are 40 hours predomintantly Monday to Friday with the occasional weekend when required.Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage the kitchen and Front of House
  • Carry out agreed operational procedures for all relevant areas of responsibility
  • Responsible for P&L, working to budgets and admin tasks
  • Oversee the kitchen
  • Ensuring current policies, procedures and legal requirements are adhered to and effectively maintained
  • Manage and train the team to include the Head Chef and FOH Manager
  • Deal with customer queries and complaints
Candidate Requirements:
  • Previous experience in Catering Management within the Contract Catering sector is Essential
  • Good financial and commercial knowledge
  • Experience of running kitchens and restaurants
  • Ability to manage and train the team effectively
  • A dedicated and passionate team player, able to work with people at all levels
  • Ability to prioritise and multi-task effectively
  • Flexible with working occasional weekends for functions when required
