1 x 30 hours per week

You will be required to work a rota pattern to cover 7 days a week between the hours of 8am and 7pm which includes weekends and Bank Holidays

Salary Range 2 £16,347 (under 23)/£17,423 (over 23) – £18,681pro rata per annum – you will be appointed on a fixed salary point within the salary range

Cambridge Park is our Enhanced Recovery service which provides Rehabilitation and Re-ablement opportunities for adults in North East Lincolnshire. The service will promote faster recovery from illness, prevent unnecessary acute hospital admissions and premature admissions to long-term care, support timely discharge from hospital and maximise independent living wherever possible.

This is an exciting time to work within Cambridge Park and across the Intermediate Tier. We deliver short term interventions to support individuals to remain in a community or home setting, concentrating on crisis intervention, hospital and long term care avoidance and timely discharge from hospital. The focus of the Intermediate Tier is on the promotion of independence, re-ablement and health well-being.

If you are passionate about satisfying and exceeding the needs of patients and helping them to be the best they can possibly be, by providing quality, patient centered service, then you could be part of the Care Plus Group’s Cambridge Park Team. Together we aim to be OUTSTANDING

You will assist the Cook to provide nutritional, palatable and well balanced meals for patients. You will work under the direction of the Cook at all times. You will carry out all duties in a safe manner having regard to the health and safety of self, colleagues, service users and visitors to Cambridge Park. You will also ensure that the environment meets the expectations and standards of the Care Plus Group and CQC, paying particular attention to infection control and food hygiene requirements.

The essential requirements for this post include the following:

  • NVQ Level 2 in Catering
  • Literacy / numeracy skills to Level 2 standard
  • Experience of the provision of meals within a residential setting
  • Experience of menu planning and portion control
  • Experience of stock control / ordering
