Catch-Up Tutor - English and Maths - Teaching Assistant - Barking and Dagenham, East London


The headteacher of a Primary School in Barking and Dagenham is looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their school to support pupils with Catch-Up tuition across KS2. School closures last year has created a GAP in pupils learning and now this school is looking to recruit the right graduate to lead Catch-Up Sessions.


This Teaching Assistant role would suit a Graduate that has a burning desire to become a Teacher. You should have a minimum of 1-year experience as a Tutor or Teaching Assistant with the confidence to lead your own Maths and English sessions.


***Catch-up tutor / Teaching Assistant position located in Barking and Dagenham
***Teacher training available in July 2020
***Catch-up tutor / Teaching Assistant will earn £350 -£450 per week depending on experience
***Long Term/Interim, Full-Time Catch-up tutor / Teaching Assistant position
***Catch-up tutor / Teaching Assistant role starting September 2021
***Gain experience as a Catch-up tutor / Teaching Assistant


We are currently seeking a Catch-up tutor / Teaching Assistant to join an ‘Outstanding’ Primary school in Barking and Dagenham on a full-time basis. The school are looking for a minimum 2:1 graduate with a pre-existing understanding of the primary curriculum, with good literacy and numeracy skills. Along with this, we are looking for a bubbly and passionate Catch-up tutor / Teaching Assistant who can work with students that are behind in the curriculum. You will be monitoring maths and English booster sessions when required!
