Coleg Sir Gar have an exciting opportunity for a casual lecturer in Travel and Tourism, based at our Graig Campus in Llanelli.

The successful candidate will join the team on a casual basis to cover sessions on a Monday and Friday, however, there will also be the opportunity to pick up hours elsewhere within The College.

What will you be doing?

As a casual Travel and Tourism lecturer, you will be required to teach across Level 1, 2 and 3 that will include topics such as, UK heritage tourist attractions, event organisation, visitor attraction and airline cabin crew. By working across a range of areas within the subject, you will provide expert guidance to learners and link with UWTSD and other institutions to progress onto higher education.

Welsh Language Requirements:

• Welsh Oracy (Listening/Speaking) - Level 0/1
• Welsh Literacy (Writing/Reading) - Level 0/1

What will you need?

Ideally you will have a teaching qualification, however, if you do not have this but an excellent understanding and experience of the travel and tourism sector, we would love to hear from you. You will need to have a passion for making a difference to learners as you give advice and guidance to them throughout their journey in college.

Job Type: Zero hours contract

Salary: £21.49-£42.28 per hour
